A group of us from ADM (School of Art, Design and Media) started a thing called SKETCH A DAY, where each day, there will be themes and we will draw around that theme. Sketch, illustration, animation etc. Thus, this is the start of S.A.D at my end. 
Hope to use this to explore more styles and compositions :)

This piece comes out, inspired by Pascal Campion, a man who does so many delightful pieces of illustrations, since i cannot concentrate on my project at the moment. 
Keeping it loose and focus on getting the pose, shapes, composition and the expressions. Will do some more from time to time to keep my brain working.

'My dear,

Come closssssssser...'

In a dark corner of a hidden alley 

that no one in the city notices,

Its black tendrils snaking around,

avoiding the Light.

But when It sees a Prey coming close

and she notices the alluring abyss,

It risks the burning of the intimating Light,

And nudge its Prey closer into its Abyss.

Clossssser

Clossser...

Closer..

And be devoured by me my Deeear.

The end of June

'... June is ending.'

Time flies fast. 

We will not notice on how fast or slow time goes if clocks or watches or even sun dials are invented.
One thing amazing is how curious and imaginative humans goes if you look back to ancient times.
Now, we take note and Time becomes our bondage.

Is Time good or negative? 

Because of Time, we can appreciate and treasure our 'short' life a little more? 

Because of Time, we can prioritize what is important to us to do or what is not so?  

Because of Time, we see the things around us differently now than compared to the prehistoric age?

We take notice of our age, our mortality, our gain of knowledge, our position in life, our differences with one another, our fears etc and keep them close in our heart.

In the end, i wonder, as an individual, this constant question continuously comes to my mind as I look out from the window.

 

'Each day, have I done enough?

And what could i have done more.'

Just don't think so much, You. *laugh*

But somehow, the gnawing feeling in your heart just grows. 

'Do you feel the same?'
